ここに、ASUSは

• アップデート提供期間の目安はない。
• 製造中止になるとファームウェアの提供は終了。
• 製造中止製品リストを公開している。

製造中止になるまではサポートがあるそうですがいつ製造中止になるか分からず、製造中止になると同時にサポートも終了するので、製造中止情報が出たら即買い換えが必要になると思います。

と書いてあるのですけど、2013年に発売されたRT-AC68Uを持っていたのでアップデートしてみたら、サポートされてました。
